Enjoying the moment I'm in

It has been confirmed that I am not pregnant, and at first I was a tad bit sad. Zach and I have been praying that our baby will come by God's timing only, and so far that means not yet ha ha. I feel like I wasted about three weeks of my life sitting around wondering if I was pregnant or not and I could have been using that time to be doing something productive, or just being thankful for what I do have (the world's most handsome husband and the cutest, best behaved dog there ever was) Zach and I have also been praying that God prepares us to be parents, so pretty much I'm just waiting to be knocked off my feet with a challenge. (go easy on me Lord!)
Every day that I'm not pregnant is another day that I can prepare for it. My sisters, as most of you know, are incredible mommies, and they have a wealth of knowledge on all things mommy and baby. They are so awesome and I love them a lot!
Oh, and I'm not going to lie... The one thing that made me feel better about not being pregnant was knowing that I at least had a few more weeks to drink wine. I'm sorry, I just really love wine, and I will miss it when baby comes.
Another thing that I've been thinking about is how "everyone is getting pregnant now" and you see lots of new Moms on Facebook. There are three types of facebookers. Those who are pregnant, those who wish they were pregnant, and last but not least, those who think the rest of us are just following a trend. I used to be the last, now I'm the second and I have realized, those who are becoming mommies are not following a trend, they are just doing what they would have done even if there was no Facebook.
People have always pro created and now it is just more public, and people tend to brag about their cute babies more because it's easier to do it on Facebook (brag away friends, I love your baby pictures.)
This month I'm going to enjoy every day and not get bogged down wondering if I'm pregnant. Especially Thanksgiving, I'm going to eat more than I should, and kick some serious butt in mud football. My in-laws won't know what hit them.
